Oct 17, 2015 - Last month saw the release of Office 2016 by Microsoft. By Microsoft to a cloud-based strategy has given Office a new lease of. Office already had a competent foothold on OSX and that remains the case with Office 2016.

Convenience for Hyde Park, super friendly staff, lots of amenities I never thought I would want to live in a modern high-rise building, but Regents Park changed my mind. I live in one of the newly remodeled units and am very happy with the look, the space and the appliances.

I love the view (I live in the South Tower), the proximity to the lakefront paths, parks, tennis courts, bike rentals, car rentals, supermarket and other shopping areas, free transportation to Uof C campus for staff, faculty and students, in-house pool, children's area, gym, spa, cafe, grill, market, conference area, drycleaning, laundry and package reception. There is enough company if one wants some social interaction, but it is large enough that one can remain more or less anonymous and unmolested. My floor is extremely quiet and I never have to wait long for an elevator. The front desk staff is ALWAYS very pleasant and extremely helpful.

The leasing agent was very pleasant and helpful, giving me a good first impression. There are periodic 'community events' like free breakfasts, holiday get-togethers and the like to foster a sense of community. I don't have a car, but I appreciate the fact that I can get a covered parking spot if I need one and guests can find parking on the street. I also like the mix of old and young, diverse nationalities and ethnic groups, long-time residents and temporary visitors and various income levels. It is a safe and relatively affordable to live in the South side of the city. I am pleased with my choice as I recently moved to Chicago. Convenient, friendly and secure!

I would start off by saying how much I love living here, how convenient it is to so many things and how excellent the staff is. I would have to mention however, that it is a older building - so they would not find some of the amenities (like in apt washer/dryer) that they may find in other apt buildings. However, I'd also point out that there are many other amenities (indoor parking, a market, cleaners and coffee shop) right in the building! Nice apartments, quick service It is one of the safest apartments to live. You will love living here, not only because of the personalized concierge, but also the stunning views and a quick maintenance. The gym and pool facilities are free with the graduate student package.

The lobby has a coffee shop, which is not the best stocked, but a good thing to have. The market in the park is expensive, but stocks most of the common needs and in winter it is a boon. The community is close knit, you will like the people, it is a mix of graduate students and professionals, mainly from law and Booth school, they are erudite and sensitive. However, there are a few drawbacks. The walls are too thin and you have little privacy when it comes to music and loud discussions. The elevators are fast, but they break sometimes.

And forget parking here if you have a car with a graduate-student or a post-doc salary. The prices are way over the top for this locality. The street parking may be difficult to find too, especially in evening. But overall, it is arguably one of the best places to stay in Hyde Park.

This is because it is safe and comfortable to live here.I would like to recommend to my friends to live at Regents Park. This is because it is safe and comfortable to live here. Great view but this is NOT luxury. I feel safe, no disturbances by the neighbors, great water pressure and an attentive management team with friendly front desk and parking staff. The gym's monthly fees are equal to that of a premier downtown health club, but without the premiere down town amenities. This place has a lot of fees and the appliances and fixtures in my are unit are extremely outdated and unacceptable as my microwave (GE model #VM131H 001) was manufactured in February 1990 and the dishwasher and heating fixtures are equally outdated.

Again, 20+ year old appliances are not luxurious. Some of the best in Hyde Park. I would tell them that it is an absolutely brilliant set of people to live and deal with, and they should feel priviledged.

The Market in the Park is a tremendous facility to have, even though the food is not always very fresh. The valet is responsive, even though they will ask for some unexplained charge if you are receiving too many packages. However, the drawbacks are, a) the Gym facilities and parking are expensive and b) The walls are thin, so sometimes loudness in one apartment disturbs the other apartments c) Even though it is a safety feature, the fact that the windows can only be opened as much is annoying for people used to fresh air. ☞ Kanagaraj K. Great Location It used to be like an extended family before the new owners took over and fired all the previous employees.

I think that they got rid of some of the most professional, customer oriented staff. The former staff were so hospitable and professional, helpful and thoughtful. They made the difference for me in terms of living at Regents Park. As a single woman, they were like a trusty uncle. There to lend an ear, say hello, and lend assistance when needed. They were an invaluable service in terms of answering questions and providing technical assistance and neighborly guidance. I am still shocked at their departure.

A nice, secure, well-maintained building For the most part Regents has been an excellent place to live. It is large and has many residents, which makes it a little more anonymous than buildings in which I have previously lived. The maintenance has always been timely and friendly. I've been a little upset by the recent transition to new ownership. I think more could have been done to make it smoother and to prepare the residents for the change in staff.

It probably would have helped the new owners, too, to maintain some of the previous staff, who were very knowledgeable about the building and its residents. The lack of information and the suddenness of the transition does not, I hope, point to future problems. One of the reasons we chose to live in Regents Park over other buildings in Hyde Park was the excellent reputation of the staff, maintenance, and management.

I hope this reputation continues to hold true and does not change under new ownership, but I must admit I am apprehensive. ☞ Yanzheng Z. I moved in August 2013.

Great Community ☞ Ayushi C. Its nice but. Its nice but I wish there were an outdoor rooftop area to cook/lounge/hangout.

I think that the residents are diverse in age, but I think that the residents would appreciate being able to hang out within the building rather than walking to the park. The garden is nice, but I feel like no one utilizes it and that the space can be adapted to be more accommodating for regular use. Flowers are nice, but if no one goes out there its not necessarily a plus to the property. Its a good apartment complex, but I would not call it luxurious living, My definition of luxurious living is different, Its an average looking nice apt. Hall way carpets need to be steam cleaned so dirt is not seen on them. Hallways need to My move in experience was not good. My apartment was not ready they had to put me in a different suite.

I feel the staff is not efficient it took them 3 hours to print lease paperwork, Inspite of my calling several times to tell I would be checking in at a certain time, my apt was not ready. Over all the staff was friendly and took care of things but they are very slow. The staff lacks structure and organisation, the apt is advertised as luxurious living, I really didnt feel that, I have been given apt on 11th floor till i get my own apt, the hall way smells of garbage, the garbage room is open and all trash is on the floor, the hall way carpet is dirty. I am yet to see how my apartment will be ☞ Elizabeth T. Mac Properties Maintenance Survey The Regents Park Maintenance Staff is very friendly, personable and customer service oriented all the while making sure that the common areas of the building are clean and well kept. They take serious the work orders performed in each apartment making sure to fix or make any adjustments necessary for you as a tenant to continue enjoying the comfort of your apartment. The maintenance staff makes it a pleasure to call Regents Park.home.

☞ Sheila on rated. Mac Properties Maintenance Survey I moved into the apartment complex the end of July. At first, it was a little rocky because of the different utilities charges that wasn’t really explained. After speaking with a resident care person she was understanding and caring understanding that when you budget your money for a particular amount any amount will throw you off. She gave me documentation to help understand. Also, since moving in I’ve had to submit several service requests for small issues. The response and time to complete the work is excellent.

One to two days the most. One of my service request involved my wine caddie.

I lost about four bottles. About two weeks later I received a gift card to replace the wine bottles that were destroyed.

I thought that was very nice of them to compensate me for the wine destroyed. Each time, I’ve notice something that needed the attention of a staff person they were right on it. Overall, I’m happy I decided Regents Park as my new home. I really like the convenience of being close to everything. When I don’t want to drive I catch an Uber. ☞ Jill on rated.
